i can't stop looking at this new fabric by liberty. i usually wouldn't go for a floral or anything with this much color, but i'm loving the movement in them. i know that if i had my hands on this fabric, i would never do anything with it. i would be paralyzed with the fear of cutting into it in case i ruined or wasted it. is it just me or does anyone else get that way with certain fabrics?

I can relate. I totally get that way with certain fabrics. I've been ogling those same Liberty print at Purl Patchwork, but I am resisting getting any because I know I would never have it in me to cut into them. They are just stunning; they are works of art on their own.
i've got a stack of fabric. that needs to be released. cut into. created into something. beautiful.
liberty prints. i found some lovely liberty cloths over here. like handkerchiefs. heck. i don't even know how to spell that word. i bought a few. more than i can use. maybe i will have to send one your way.
There are so many things I want precious fabrics to be, but I want it to be all of those things at once. So it stays folded on the shelf. I really liked the Liberty patterns from last fall, but these are pretty amazing as well.
i KNOW - i have held on to fabrics for YEARS for fear of ruining it - the first liberty print is amazing!
