sweetness

i decided to bake these banana butterscotch muffins today after mailing a few wholesale orders out. (i'm starting to do a few wholesale orders now when i have the time.) what a sweet and tasty way to wrap up the week.

i like that my birthday is so close to my husband's. it's nice to celebrate together.

something new that i whipped up. i have a few others in the works right now, perhaps they will be ready for their unveiling soon. i think these will be perfect for hanging just about anywhere. especially come holiday season. i will keep you posted on when they will be in the shop.

finally

i finally got around to putting this print by ashley g into a frame. (thank you ikea) it's called 'have i ever told you' and i managed to snag the last one in it's tiny edition of 10, just in time to give to my husband for valentine's day. we don't normally put too much pressure on each other over that holiday, but it seemed like a perfect gift since we were getting married not long after.
the colors are even more stunning in person. there may be a bearded man in our future soon.

so i have been on a bit of a fabric binge lately. but instead of hoarding it like i usually do, i've thrown caution to the wind and have been cutting into it. and loving it. i can't wait to show these fabrics together. i am loving them!
so this is a wee hint of what the finished product will look like. it isn't a new animal (just yet) but a variation on an old one. they will be in the shop on monday june 9th at 11:00am PDT (2:00pm EDT) see you there!

new owl

i have just added this new little owl to the shop .

he is made with some new wool that i picked up. it is a really pretty camel color and is super soft!
