cheery

it's been pretty lousy spring weather here lately and i've been really sick with a super sized cold. so some cheery flowers placed around the house have been helping me along.

some incredible technicolor roses to mark an important 5 year anniversary for me. they are fair trade too, so they are doubly good!

fragrant peonies brighten up a sunday filled with kleenex and vicks vapo rub.

and i'm surprised how much i'm digging the simple carnation these days. super affordable and they last forever, i like them all one color and kept tight in the vase. they have been my go-to flower for our little memorial for sara.

those roses are incredible! the lime green really catches the eye!
hope that you are on the mend and feeling better. there is nothing much worse than being so sick while you're so pregnant.
thanks for popping in to say hello :) we'll have to catch up at the holiday shows!!
take care, lesley

You've given me a new appreciation of the previously overlooked carnation. I'll remember your "one color and tight in the vase" tip! Thanks, and get better soon. :)
